We had an assembly to honor those students who participated in the Reflections program.

We have all seen this fellow second grader coming and going from Mrs. Osborne's classroom.  I would like to invite you and your families to join me at the  Guns N' Hoses basketball game to help Konner in his journey to Dallas, Texas. 

 

 

Gary Hogg Assembly and Workshop

 

Gary Hogg

 

 

 Gary Hogg is the author of  the "Charlie Bacon" books. 

We were lucky enough to have him come to our school today for an assembly.  He discussed how to be an author and shared an excerpt from his book.

 

After the assembly, second grade was able to attend a writing workshop with Mr. Hogg. It was fantastic! We learned lots of techniques to improve our writing through word choice.
